Kat Stephens Singing TeacherKat qualified as a Level 1 Speech Level Singing Teacher in January 2007 and was very thrilled to join the SLS Family as a fully Qualified Teacher.  She is totally passionate and dedicated to encouraging her students to find and fulfil their true vocal potential. 

Enjoying singing and performing is so important to Kat, she wants her students to gain confidence and believe in themselves, and to develop their own unique singing personality and style.

Kat continues to develop her teaching and technique by having regular lessons with more experienced Speech Level Singing Teachers and is working towards her Level 2 Certification.  The more she is able to learn and pass onto her students the better!

Kat has performed in Jazz, Cabaret & Musical Theatre settings, sung as a featured soloist in big bands, quartets, and duos as well as writing and recording her own material. She is currently performing in concerts with a 16-piece jazz / Swing band and has a very eclectic music taste from Musical Theatre to Hip Hop, RnB to Rock.
